Our jewellery incorporates high quality plating. However, continued wear may lead to tarnishing. To prevent tarnishing and keep jewellery in top condition, please follow the below instructions:

Gold and Silver Plated Jewellery

Silver and gold plated jewellery will gradually start to show wear, particularly on components such as the chain or the closure mechanism. The colour will slowly start changing, but this is not a fault of the item, it is general wear. We recommend you store your plated jewellery in a jewellery box or pouch, when you are not wearing it, to help keep it in good condition.

Do not use chemicals to clean your jewellery as this may damage and cause discolouration to the jewellery

Storing your jewellery
Store your jewellery in a jewellery box or in a cool and dry place.
Store pieces separately in soft, padded compartments or pouches. This will prevent scratches, tarnishing and tangling o fthe chains.
Keep jewellery away from extreme temperatures, humidity and direct sunlight as these can all cause discolouration and increase tarnishing.

Wearing your jewellery
Don’t wear jewellery when showering or swimming as contact with water and chlorine will cause damage.
Skin and hair products such as perfumes or any creams or lotions should be applied and allowed to dry before putting jewellery on, as they will cause tarnishing and discolouration.
Remove your jewellery before going to the gym or participating in any type of exercise.
